Big cities and small coastal towns are my destinations of choice. But here I am — and I am content. My little girl, currently 3 years old, is now experiencing any of the things that made childhood in the Mid-Ohio valley so special for my wife and I. We love that the things that we had begun to take for granted after 30 years in the Parkersburg area, are being given new life as our daughter experiences them with great excitement.
All of that to say this. This is our home. We will work hard for it. We will invest in it. We love this place. Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Olivia and I met in high school; fell in love, became high school sweethearts, got married flipped a couple houses together and now have the cutest little redhead kid in the world. We love to hang out as a family. My wife and I like to explore new places and eat new foods together. Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career.
What do you love most about what you do? Through high school, college and a couple years after college, I owned and operated a landscape business and was a part-time youth pastor. In I took a full-time ministry position and gave up the landscape business. For the past 11 years I have been working with middle and high school students. As far as my future plans; I see myself doing ministry for the rest of my life. Currently, I am pursuing a clinical counseling degree and I plan to use that degree for ministry.
I love that I get to walk alongside students as they navigate the chaos of middle school, high school and beyond! Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community? For a nice meal, I love the Blennerhassett hotel. The Levee House Bistro makes and serves the best food I have ever had.
