The hotel is in two minutes walking from the train station, the Castle is at hand. Quite a large room with nice views of the old town square, good sized bath room, great breakfast included in price. Nice house in the centre of the town. Hotel was in a good location, about metres from Rapperswil station which in turn is very convenient for trains to almost all parts of Switzerland. The cost was reasonable by Swiss standards.
The breakfast adequate if no more. I did not sample the restaurant. Location to train station and restaurants. Very creaky noisy floor, tiny 14" old style TV which is difficult to watch from the bed.
