My dad is able to leave my mom in an environment where she is loved on by the wonderful staff to participate in well planned out activities and be provided with the opportunity to go on daily field trips. They even provide transportation to and from the program allowing my dad to have a full day to recharge.
Renaissance is a fun and energetic atmosphere. My LO enjoys the day when he is at the Coon Rapids location. I am so happy we found Renaissance Adult Day Care.
My wife is in the early stages of dementia. She loves to greet the guests. I get a respite and she gets to do something she loves. Thanks Renaissance, you get five stars for taking my wife and giving her life back.
The staff go above and beyond to make sure all of their clients feel loved and well taken care of. They plan engaging and fun activities and provide a safe and welcoming home away from home. She enjoys being with her friends and getting out of the house. Thank you, Renaissance. My mother really enjoys this adult day care. Being with others her age helps her not to feel lonely. Caring for an elderly family member can be very difficult and overwhelming.
How will you be able to work a full-time job if you have to spend most of your time caring for say, your parent? And what if you have children and a spouse? They need you, too. It is baffling that such a valuable service goes largely underused by the public. And having a loved one in a protected and stimulating environment can afford necessary rest to overloaded caregivers.
