News magazine and Newsday in New York. As a foreign correspondent, he shared the Pulitzer Prize for a series about violence against women. As a journalist, he lived and worked in Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. David wrote a book about college admissions, Acceptance published by Penguin Books.
David is an honors graduate of Brown University. He was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard. But he says classes at a community college changed his life.
