She later served as an assistant for the Miami Sol and the Seattle Storm before being named the head coach of the Sacramento Monarchs in After serving as an assistant coach for the Storm again, she became the head coach of the team in In she became the third woman to serve as an assistant coach in the NBA when she was hired by the Sacramento Kings.
