While our emergency shelters offer a bed for the night, Larkin Street also has several housing programs if you are looking for longer-term support two years or more. Because every young person has different needs, we offer a continuum of housing options β from dorm-style living with hour on-site staff, to independent apartments in the community. All of our programs have case managers who provide education and employment support, health and wellness services, fun community activities and assistance planning for a bright future.

Casa Esperanza: This program supports Transitional Age Youth TAY experiencing homelessness, particularly those from historically underserved communities, by connecting them with essential resources. Geary House: Provides dorm-style transitional housing for the general youth population, available for up to two years. Turning Point: A temporary, transitional housing program assisting young people aged to obtain and maintain independent permanent housing, available for up to two years. Rapid Rehousing Programs: Pathways: A graduated rental subsidy program that helps young people afford their own apartments, easing the transition into independent living.
Rising Up: A time-limited housing program that offers rental assistance and supportive services to youth and young adults exiting homelessness. It places participants in independent housing with a subsidy aimed at achieving housing and economic stability.
