During cupping therapy, a practitioner will place special cups onto your skin to create suction; this pulls the tissue beneath the cups upwards and increases the flow of blood to the area. It depends on your goal and the condition you want to treat.
For general wellness, you can have cupping therapy once a month. You should leave at least a week between appointments.
