CF1S1 Sociology - Tuesday 1pm - 3pm Sidonie Naulin The aim of this course is to enable students to grasp the specific nature of sociological reasoning.
It will present the main methods and theories that enable us to think about the social world through the study of objects central to sociology: norms and deviance, the economy, social stratification, inequalities, culture, the school, the family, the city, the state and gender. The theories of the discipline's classic authors K. Durkheim, M. Weber, H. Becker, P. Bourdieu, etc. The aim is to show how it is possible to think scientifically about the social world and its evolution, and what results have been established after more than a century of sociological investigation.
