Although ridiculed by some egyptologists, who claim these enigmatic glyphs outside of Sydney Australia are modern fakes, two Egyptian born and bred masters of hieroglyphics, Yousef Awyan and Mohamed Ibrahim believe that they tell a cohesive story, and that they are ancient. In the above photo you can see Yousef and Mohamed in the underground complex called the Serapeum, at Saqqara. Both are master guides of ancient Egypt; Yousef having been trained by his father, and Mohamed being a university trained academic and tour operator.
Some claim that the Gosford glyphs were made by college students, while others insist that a war veteran made them. The fact is, according to Yousef and Mohamed that whoever did make them had to have an extensive knowledge of the ancient Egyptian language, and not simply from the somewhat problematic Rosetta Stone, which is limited in its translation. The basic story, supposedly, is that 2 high ranking brothers were conducting trade in Australia, likely for gold to take home, when one died suddenly.
His surviving brother carved a eulogy for him at Gosford. Since was not a royal scribe, his knowledge of hieroglyphics was limited, but extensive enough for Yousef and Mohamed to be able to translate a tangible story.
