Believe it or not, in some regions and countries, locals adore Americans more than anywhere else. In Ukraine, many local ladies are attracted to foreigners, especially Americans.
This can be explained by multiple reasons, which, however, fall under two main categoriesβproblems with local men and appreciation of qualities and personality traits that American guys have. The competition between Ukrainian girls is pretty fierce, and some even say local men are spoiled with beauty.
The Philippines is the country with the highest immigration rates in the world. For centuries, Filipinas have been marrying foreigners, and Americans are some of the most popular boyfriends here. Just like in some other Asian countries, dating a foreigner there is considered more prestigious than dating a local guy, and probably, that, in part, can be explained by the social encouragement of immigration and the fact that foreigners often turn out to be more loyal and caring husbands.
The thing is, divorces are prohibited in the Philippines, and adultery and love triangles are pretty common problems. What about the country with nearly the largest number of American visitors?
American tourists who go to Mexico often return with Mexican girlfriends who then become their wives, and that proves that this country deserves to be on this list. Though the older generation does not always have a good attitude toward Americans, the younger generation is way more open-minded.
