Dakota News Now - The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation is warning the public about marijuana that was potentially laced with opioids was discovered in the eastern part of the state. An adult male had reported overdose symptoms after smoking marijuana and it was discovered that the marijuana had a blue-white tint and a chemical taste.
He later tested positive for opioids in the emergency room and further testing will be done to see if fentanyl was included. Attorney General Marty Jackley is advising the public to avoid marijuana and seek immediate medical attention if feeling ill.
