The volunteer group has been The volunteer group has been unsuccessful in finding new storage space for books collected for their bi-annual book sales. ELF member Heather Freiboth has the boxed books piled in her home, which is less than satisfactory. The group needs a dry, critter-free location; it does not require heat if there is a window and light is not needed. Librarian Glenna Hines said ELF not only hosts two large book sales but also does book sales outside the library during the summer.

Other library and service groups have offered to take the books but ELF wants to keep the books donated by the commu- nity in the community so the sales continue and funds raised stay in the community.
