Following short-term, post-graduate work in the program for English Education, I decided to pursue my true interest in integrative body therapy by attending the Humanities Center School of Massage in St.
Petersburg, Florida. The field of massage has been highly beneficial for my family and I, as it has allowed me to achieve the desired balance as a professional and a parent. I have worked in all types of massage establishments, from local spas here in Destin and Niceville, to corporate office space in Tampa. For seven years I worked for Dr.
Jachimek in Tampa administering half-hour, therapeutic treatments up to three times a week. One of my favorite career paths was working at St. During my career, I have completed many continuing education courses that include Pregnancy Massage, Therapeutic Touch, Shiatsu, Craniosacral Therapy, Thai Table Massage, but I primarily focus on Myofascial Release and Neuromuscular Therapy as these techniques are most beneficial in dealing with injuries or long standing postural issues.
