Adopting with Children: The safety of children in an adoptive home is one of our greatest priorities. Learn more about our approach to placing dogs in homes where little ones are present. Adopting as a Townhome or Apartment Resident: As many of our dogs come from rural areas—where they have limited exposure to cars, new people and dogs, unexpected noises, and being leashed—we may limit placements for some dogs to single-family homes.
Heartworm: About ten percent of our dogs are diagnosed with Heartworm disease during their initial vetting. Heartworm is treatable, and Lab Rescue provides treatment for all infected dogs at no cost to the adopter.
Good with:. A loving forever home, fence negotiable. The map to your heart! Atlas is a very sweet and outgoing boy. He has a great smile and lab lean. He is pretty calm for a youngster - he rides well in the car and walks well on leash. At the vet, he's keeping his run clean and is friendly with the other dogs. Atlas may be new to Lab Rescue, but we know this sweetheart has the map to your heart!
You won't regret giving this boy a chance. A loving forever home with a physical or underground fence. Beau IS handsome! Beau is a happy pup who likes to be with you. He is laid back but enjoys playing and getting attention. Beau will happily retrieve balls and toys, and mostly brings them back. In his previous home this handsome pup slept on a dog bed in the son's room or on his bed, so he is used to comfort!
