For more than 55 years, AMIkids has empowered over , young people across the country by guiding young minds and fostering confidence and a belief in success. AMIkids offers a wide range of programs and services across the nation designed to provide the extra support youth need to discover their true potential.
Our programs and services are organized into four main categories:. Community-based programs offer daily services to youth and families, with youth returning home each day if programming takes place outside of the home. We offer eight unique services with our community-based programs. Residential programs operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week, with youth residing on campus. AMIkids provides regional service coordination for the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice as part of their transformation initiative.
In our role as a service coordinator, we work with local or state agencies to develop and manage a continuum of community-based and residential services from subcontracted direct service providers. Through unique adventures, we expose young people to new and exciting opportunities that allow them to grow self-confidence and develop leadership skills. We stick with them. We foster relationships, care, and provide a sense of family.
And we provide structure. The AMIkids Personal Growth Model is a proven success, tying together education and workforce development, treatment, and behavior and skills training. We meet young people where they are. We work together with youth and families to support their goals and create stronger communities.
