Atlanta News First - Three more people have been arrested as law enforcement agencies continue investigating human trafficking concerns in metro Atlanta, according to the Roswell Police Department. On Aug. The suspects face charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and labor trafficking, police said. Last week, Roswell police β along with officers from DeKalb and Gwinnett counties, Sandy Springs, the Department of Homeland Security and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation β served search warrants at seven locations in north metro Atlanta.
The sites included several apartment complexes, a home, a storage facility and an extended-stay motel. The three suspects were arrested during the operation. Human trafficking is taking place in our communities, and we are committed to putting an end to it.
