After School Activities. Our AIS Vienna After School Activities Program offers students the opportunity to participate in guided, engaging activities that complement and enhance the curriculum in their daily education.
Students are able to interact with friends and students from different grade levels while participating in a wide range of activities. The ASA program is fee based and offers a wide variety of activities for primarily Elementary School students.
After School Activities take place on a semester basis. Below are examples of activities that we offer. For current offerings please visit the internal website. The group will be split into KG-G2 and G3-G5 for all activities each week for 90 minutes of 3 different ball sports organized using fun drills and games. Sports on offer will include handball, basketball, baseball, short tennis, badminton, hockey, dodge-ball, kick ball, volleyball, American football touch , soccer and many more will be offered to develop a range of skills.
With our younger group these sports will be broken down to individual components, e. We will endeavor to create a fun filled and high energy environment in which your child can immerse themselves in each week.
This activity is based on the concept of the kaidap — Basketball Academy. It will help teach the fundamental techniques of Basketball such like shooting, passing, dribbling and defense. While at the same time promote a hard working, fun and a positive environment. It will incorporate a structured program with adaptive and innovative teaching, which promotes progressive learning. Every aspect of the game, from basic exercises to exciting games, will be covered. All skill levels are encouraged and welcome to join and try it out.
