Chesapeake Shakespeare Company has transformed a 19th-century landmark in downtown Baltimore into an intimate theatre for the classics. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The public entrance is on Calvert Street. Look for the red and white marquee. I becomes President Street. At Lombard Street turn right.
Then at Calvert Street, turn right. Ahead are Water Street and then Redwood Street. Use Water Street to reach our partner Arrow Parking lot. The theatre is one block north of the garage, at Calvert and Redwood Streets. You will see the marquee over the Calvert Street door. Turn right on Conway Street heading toward the Inner Harbor. Turn left on Light Street and prepare for Light Street to split: Stay in the left or center lane to go straight into Calvert Street the right lane will carry you down Pratt Street.
To reach our partner Arrow Parking lot, turn right on Water Street. The theatre is one block north of the garage, at the corner of Calvert and Redwood streets. You will see the red marquee over the Calvert Street door. Take Pratt Street to Calvert Street. Turn left on Calvert Street. At St. Paul Street, turn right. Turn left at Baltimore Street. You will cross Calvert Street and turn right on South Street.
Ahead are Redwood Street then Water Street. Turn right on Water Street to reach the entrance to our partner Arrow Parking lot. Pay online in advance, right from your computer or phone. All payments must be made either in advance via the direct link above, or on a smart phone upon arrival with the validation QR located at the theatre. There are no kiosk to accept payment.
On Calvert Street, metered parking is permitted only between 10 a. There is towing before 10am, and tow trucks also appear right on time at 3 pm. The meters take credit cards.
