Come and join us to celebrate the Paris Olympics in your local library this summer. We are putting on a series of FREE creative maths challenges for you and your child. There will be an opportunity to make, measure and model over 2-hours. The sessions are informal and provide a fun way to introduce maths concepts.
You will work with your child to measure, shape, cut and produce a maths challenge. By the end of the course, and depending on the activity, you and your child will be more confident measuring distance, constructing 3D shapes and have improved your mental maths. Children must be mature enough to take part in making activities and engage with fun explanations.
Adults must be accompanied by a child maximum 2 children per adult and children must be accompanied by an adult β you will be working together to complete the maths challenge set.
All learners who complete an enrolment form will be entered into a prize draw to win shopping vouchers worth,. However, when you enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
