Cupping Therapy. Cups are placed on the skin creating a light suction. The therapist may strategically place the cups in certain areas or glide them over the tissue to promote blood flow, reduce inflammation, release soft tissue and fascia, and provide therapeutic benefits. Cupping is commonly used for pain relief and relaxation, and may leave temporary circular marks on the skin due to the suction.
Deep Tissue Massage. Deep tissue therapy is always applied within the comfort level of the individual, and is a general term for modalities involving deep pressure.
