To have a procedure at our location, you must first schedule an appointment with a Gastro Health physician, listed below, or one of our partner physicians: Roberto De J. Rodriguez, MD. One to two days before your procedure, a member of the nursing staff will contact you to verify the time of your procedure.
It is important to let the center know if you have been experiencing any changes to your health. This includes fever, headaches, flu-like symptoms, etc.
For individuals taking medications such as blood thinners, diabetic medications, etc. Your doctor will provide specific instructions for care while recovering at home. In the event of difficulty, please call your doctor. For the first 24 hours following procedure, do not engage in strenuous activities, do not drink any alcoholic beverages, drive, or make any critical decisions. A nurse from Westland Endoscopy Center will call you within a day or two to evaluate how you are recovering at home.
You can also receive copies at our front desk. You may contact them directly as well for additional information concerning your cost-sharing responsibilities. Westland Endoscopy Center standard collection policy is to produce and send one or more bills to patients for their cost sharing amount.
Upon your request, and before the provision of non-emergency care at Westland Endoscopy Center, you can receive a good faith estimate of anticipated charges for the treatment of your condition at Westland Endoscopy Center. This estimate must be provided to you within seven 7 days of the request being received by Westland Endoscopy Center.
