The Exhibition will feature an exciting mix of 80 - pieces by both emerging and invited artists. Interested artists should submit their works to the Honolulu Museum of Art School on August 6 - 7, , between a. Accepted entrants will be notified on August 8, Entry specifications include: two and three dimensional media, pieces must be ready "wired" for installation, and the artist"s sale price must be determined prior to date of entry.
Two-dimensional works must be no larger than 5 feet x 7 feet height and width Three-dimensional works can be no larger than 6 feet x 6 feet x 6 feet. The weight of each work shall not exceed pounds. Works exhibited in previous HJCC art exhibitions are ineligible. No limit on the number of entries.
Admission is free and open to the public. Exhibition works will be available for sale. The Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce was established in and is one of Honolulu"s largest business trade organizations. Its purpose is to provide its members with the leadership and organization to promote Hawaii"s business and economic development, in Hawaii and Japan.
