Let the family know you are thinking of them. Give to a forest in need in their memory. Our beautiful, sweet, loving, kind, graceful, and sophisticated mom entered eternity on early Monday morning, January 9, , after a short and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
With her deep faith and love for Christ, we know she is now basking in the glow of His incredible love, as well as reuniting with loved ones and friends. Along with dad, mom raised seven rambunctious children. She spent almost all of her adult professional life working in education while raising those energetic children.
Even at this moment, we are still amazed at how our little mom juggled it all. From preparing meals, to attending sporting events, to keeping a household of nine in complete order, she did it all. She was the rock of our family, the one who constantly watched over, encouraged, and motivated us. She made our house a warm, loving, and nurturing home. But most of all, she loved spending time with family. She cherished every single moment she could be with her children and grandchildren.
Also grateful are daughters and sons-in-law, 18 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. For those who have accepted Christ into their lives, we take great assurance in the promise that He left all of us.
The one who believes in me will live, even after dying. We take such great comfort in that. Our mom set such a Godly example for our family and leaves a legacy for us to exemplify. Because of her Godly influence, we will strive every day to live excellent and Christ-centered lives.
