This monument demarcates a nature preserve that was given to the town of Falmouth, Maine, by George Woodward in It is to be preserved forever as a park and forest in honor of the two men who died in WWI. The monument is a smooth granite rectangular base with a curved top, set on top of a granite platform, and surrounded by a stone courtyard with stone walls, stone pavers, and stone benches.
