All Aging Well groups and events are free and open to everyone. Your feedback matters! Schwartz Judaic and Holocaust Resource Center. Topics are relevant to older adults. Past presentations include financial safety and scams, health after 60, and long term care choices and preparation. A free meal is provided. Registration for each date is required. This group provides support, education, resources, and a sense of community for those navigating the unique challenges of raising the children in their care.
J-Away Program This program is designed to assist Jewish older adults in the Youngstown area who are in need of an exercise program. A JCC personal trainer will create personalized exercise plans and train clients in their own home.
Participants will receive a free exercise band. Many participants report a regained ability to successfully manage the disease, improve their quality of life and take back control over their own body movements. Mobility Movement fitness plans include symptom-specific exercises and also address daily functional challenges, such as rising from a chair, getting out of the car, moving about in big crowds, dressing and getting off the floor.

Classes are offered Monday - Friday, a. Improved mobility can not only mitigate risk of injury but also improves strength. Chair Tai Chi Like meditation in motion, this mind-body class is a series of gentle exercises that creates harmony between the mind and body, cultivating and improving health and well-being. Mobility Movement This class is designed to promote strength, balance, coordination, and increase flexibility while building agility in order to delay the process of aging.
