I know folks who are moving to Phoenix, Ariz. They are excited. I am intrigued. In Phoenix it is above degrees for 30 days. It is above for over days straight. It cools down at night. It cools to the mid 90s. That is it. Mid 90s. I have a buddy who retired there and to save on air conditioning bills he keeps his house at Any lower and the bills go up.
If you leave your car in the sun, you can bake a cookie on the dashboard. People do not go outside for months. The grass is always greener somewhere else.
But there is no grass in Phoenix. Sand, dirt, rock β it is all desert. Because of climate change they predict people will be moving north β out of the south.
Going to be too hot in the south. Here, we can always go outside when it is cold. Dress warm and we are fine.
When it is hot β forget it. You stay in. The polar vortex is soon upon us β again. It will be real cold for a few days. But no complaints from me. I will be thankful. Beats Phoenix in summer.
