Get Started. My mother has been a resident in the skilled nursing area for about four months. Her rehab therapy is going well, and she likes her nurses and doctors very much. The staff keeps her busy with weekly social events and do a really nice job of celebrating holidays and recognizing special occasions.
The grounds are lovely and well-landscaped, and the building interior is always clean and maintained. There are more activities than one could ever hope to enjoy! The meals are nutritious as well as attractively served in the new dining areas. Transportation is provided without fee to many outside activities: excursions, the Jacksonville Symphony and other musical and arts events.
Every time I visit, the staff greets him by name and chat and joke with him. He even raves about the food. Trusting others to care for a family member is incredibly difficult and our family is so grateful to have found the kindhearted and talented staff of Cypress Village.
