The American student had tried traditional dating apps such as Bumble and Tinder before a friend suggested an alternative option.
Somhi, who lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, says that her feelings for the men who help to finance her life are genuine. She says she found them attractive and felt more and more than she had little in common with men her own age.
She said: "I got to the point where I was at a loss with dating. There always seemed to be a lot of game-playing, which made it hard to trust. Somhi saw messages begin flooding into her inbox once she'd set up her profile. With generous offers of cash allowances and designer gifts on the table, Somhi was determined to only connect with men that she found attractive. Because of restrictions presented by the pandemic, Somhi has only been able to meet up with one suitor in real life.
He does help me out with my finances. It can be very draining. Some people view sites like Seeking Arrangement as amounting to little more than escorting, and that has led to Somhi having to deflect judgmental comments. Somhi wants to spread the message of safety when online dating. She hopes that people will be more open-minded when it comes to sugar daddies and babies. My feelings are per cent genuine.
