New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was allegedly caught soliciting prostitutes at a Florida massage parlor through the use of hidden cameras, authorities say. Jupiter Police say they surveilled the Orchids of Asia Day Spa for six months as part of a sting operation, watching on as more than 1, men frequented the premises for sexual purposes.
Evidence of the sordid on-goings was gathered through the use of body cams, and hidden cameras placed both inside and outside the Spa. Police claim to have obtained video evidence of Kraft paying twice for sex through the use of the concealed cameras. Police say through the use of body cameras and hidden recording devices inside a Florida spa, the recorded Robert Kraft above twice soliciting sex from prostitutes.
Police charging documents allege the business provided 'rub and tug' services. They also described 'deplorable conditions' the sex workers were made to work in, with as many as men coming through the door each month to purchase their services. It's believed the women working at the spa had been transported from China to the United States under the false promise of legitimate jobs, but have since been held captive at the spa.
Kraft, 77, was among 25 others charged on Friday, as part of a crackdown on sex-trafficking in the state. Nine other spas who were deemed to be acting illegally are also said to have been permanently shutdown as a result of the operation.
On Friday afternoon, President Trump - who's said to be a close friend of Kraft - voiced his 'surprise' at the allegations made against the fellow billionaire.
