On it they stated that a new casino is opened every two weeks in Vegas. Then they showed an opening night, and on opening night they had a blackjack pays 3 to 1 promotion. Are there a lot of these promotions that can be found in Vegas or any other gambling destination for that matter? If so, how do you find out ahead of time? Seems like a lot of new casino's would offer these promotions to get you in their doors. One or two in a year is about right. Within the last year, Green Valley Ranch and the Palms opened up.
The next new casino scheduled to open is The Cannery in North Las Vegas, which will be opening in about four months. These places usually change hands because of financial problems.
Once in awhile there are worthwhile promotions, but not too often. All four of the re-named casinos noted above still appear to be struggling just to survive. Perhaps their lack of attractive promotions to lure people in is part of their problem. I'm on the mailing list of all four, and haven't seen anything from any of them that would influence me to go there, even if I was a ploppy.
Any details on this casino? Any info on the type of BJ game to be offered? LVBear Posts count: MrFellow Posts count: An aside about these channels which are all owned and run by the same company is that they often show dated material about Las Vegas. When I say dated, I mean years old; Vegas changes a lot in that time. For example, you'll often see the Desert Inn featured in some stories. In this particular case, the casino opening was Terribles, which has been open for a while now.
Thus, the information is quite old. They're still fun to watch from time to time - I also drooled at the prospect of naturals! More info. Posts Topics Articles Usernames. New Articles. Mescalero Apache casino tribe BJ21 News Service. NFL first-half betting, Part Two.
