So, spent some time this morning looking through pictures I've had ready to post for some time. Soooo many, and while I haven't had the time to be on Flickr as much as I'd like, I'm still taking pictures whenever I see something interesting. Most of my roadside photo shoots take less than 5 minutes. Hope everyone is hanging in there, staying healthy through these trying times.
My daughter graduated from nursing school and got hired at a large hospital. She works in the respiratory intensive care unit with Covid patients. All on ventilators, where survival by the time they reach this state isn't high.
Fortunately for her patients, she is tough, compassionate, and super smart. She was number one in her class, and got the job right out of school because of her grades and a strong recommendation by one of her teachers who also happens to know the head of the ICU department at the hospital. Comforting for me was the fact that none of the hospital staff have ever contracted the virus thanks to the Units environmental controls and specialized PPE.
Thank God no children, adults only. She said she knows she couldn't handle the job if her patients were children. Anyway, better post this now or won't have time to get in some visits.
Again, stay healthy and safe, miss all of you. Thanks to Rich, Karen and Wilbur for confirming the name of this formation. I was able to confirm as well, it is Ford Butte. With that help I was also able to find out what the name of the formation on the west side of US is. It's Bennett Peak. With that info I've updated my tags on the picture I posted of that mountain formation.
