The role will lead the Canada-based team that manages contractual sourcing and supply relationships with OTC-CPG suppliers, for both Own Brands and National Brands with the objective of sourcing a portfolio of products and growing supplier yield for both distribution and retail businesses.
The Director will set the overall strategy and lead the day-to-day engagement with suppliers, leading negotiation activities, ensuring the proper execution of contracts, and assessing overall vendor performance.
Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing center of excellence for both McKesson Own Brands and private label products managed for Wholesale customers. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and manufacturers to ensure optimal cost, quality, and reliability. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration and performance. Collaborate with product development, quality assurance, and marketing teams to align sourcing strategies with product and brand objectives.
