All parts specified will be included with your purchase. This bike is designed to work with both air and coil shocks. We know there are a lot of great shock options outside of what we spec, but we have worked extremely hard to develop the tune in our supplied shocks. We believe they perform as good as anything else available in the aftermarket options. Transition Bikes is not responsible for any damage to a frame caused by a shock that we do not spec. Yes, the Spire alloy and the Spire carbon can run a dual crown fork, however the carbon version is not compatible with a 46mm offset RockShox Boxxer fork due to a drastically limited turning radius.
Running 10mm more or less travel than stock is okay. Any more than 10mm in either direction can negatively affect the handling. Yes, but this bike is built with SBG technology , which utilizes an offset in the range of mm.
Running a fork with more or less offset would be taking away from the SBG technology package. We offer three ways to demo a bike.
