She defended her thesis entitled "Comparative outcomes of seropositive patients during antiretroviral treatments per age group" and obtained her degree of Doctor of Medicine in the autumn of In , Dr Gazdaru obtained the title of FMH specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics, with in-depth training in operative gynaecology and obstetrics. In order to continue her training in reproductive medicine and gynaecological endocrinology, in she obtained a university degree in the biology, clinical aspects and treatment of sterility from the Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg, with a work entitled "The conservative treatment of epidermoid cancer of the endometrium with a view to preserving fertility".
In addition to her work in medically assisted reproduction and gynaecological endocrinology, Dr Gazdaru takes a particular interest in the preservation of fertility.
