I live in Ibiza and I am passionate about empowering people to feel comfortable in their bodies in order to be their best selves. With the Ixchel System, Get Into Your Body methodology I can finally empower you to feel into your own body to create more comfort and ease. I grew up in the UK an avid dancer and have always thrived being active, outdoors and travelling.
My fascination with human behaviour led me to study psychology at University College London. In I moved with my young family to live and work in Ibiza, Spain. As a clinical massage therapist, I found an incredible power helping to relieve pain that clients had thought they were stuck with for good. But I also came to the awareness that some clients will heal quickly, while others keep returning to the same pain patterns again and again. This may have a physical cause; a part of their life that meant they moved or became stuck in certain ways that promoted their pain.
Other times it seems to be an emotion or personality trait that is stuck in the body. As I trained further and understood more, I also realised how difficult it can be for some people to make any lasting change.
What could I do to help? In I heard an inspirational talk from Victoria, explaining how she had seen exactly this and created a methodology of simple but transformational practices to remind the body how it can function optimally. It has changed the way I look at the human body: at how my clients can feel into their own patterns of pain and how they might help themselves find ease.
It changed how I experience my own body for the better. I believe that everyone should be empowered to understand their body and stand in their full potential of personal power.
