All electricity consumption in Tivoli Gardens, including the Nimb, will be sourced from renewable solar energy from October , after securing an agreement with a local solar energy supplier on the Danish island of Lolland. The original building was sympathetically extended in , in accordance with the Danish BR10 building code with the subsequent energy-efficient construction requirements — including double-glazed windows and insulation to minimise heat consumption, and solar cells installed on the roof.
Rainwater is recycled for use in the biodiverse gardens, which are mostly planted with indigenous flora, while all single-use plastic cups and bottles have been replaced with reusable alternatives. Hosting a range of themed events throughout the year, Tivoli Gardens invite visitors to partake in local festivals, such as Greenland Day, as well as immersing them in Danish traditions — particularly around Christmas when the hotel and gardens transform into a winter wonderland of Nordic cabins and snow-dusted stalls selling artisan goods.
We loved the access to Tivoli Gardens. We abolsutely loved the spa and pool as well as the workout facilities. Faultless and the proximity Tivoli Gardens. Spacious room, the lovely fireplace, the tub - big enough to drown in The decorations! Listening to the Halloween music from our wonderful room overlooking the gardens. The beds were comfortable, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were amazing, the food was great, the location can't be beat, and wellness was wonderful.
Walking into Tivoli whenever you wish. Great rooftop pool. The staff made our stay unforgettable - and essentially curated our trip - they became our friends and we can not wait to come back.
