The snow white beaches surrounded by the sun kissed Emerald Coast of the Gulf of Mexico, make a vacation to Destin, a trip to paradise. The recreation area has 54 motel units 48 RV sites with hookup facilities to include cable TV and telephone. Destin provides many ways to unwind and enjoy a tropical vacation. Charter Boat trips are available for fishing the Gulf of Mexico. Pets are welcome in the Recreation Area on a leash and in designated ares of the campground only.
Blue Angel Naval Recreation Campground. Tent site includes platform. Activities include: Paint Ball, boat rental, mini-golf, disc golf, marina, two 2 18 hole golf courses. Two pet minimum per site. Must be registered thru Recreation Department prior to arrival. Raccoon's Creek Recreation Campground. Maximum stay consecutive days. Propane available at marina. On site minor repairs and washing permitted. Large BX, Commissary, Hospital available on base. Boat rentals available at marina. Many schedule tours from camp.
