One of the issues at the center of this election cycle is the growing amount of debt crippling college graduates. Figures like that have some students looking for new ways to make money and hundreds in the Brazos Valley are seeking secret arrangements to make ends meet.
The website SeekingArrangements. A promotional video for the site declares "Our mission is to provide a quality education completely paid for by wealthy benefactors. It claims to be the leading provider of "Sugar Daddy" and "Sugar Baby" relationships. KBTX did an area search for members and found hundreds of men and women signed up.
Many of them are students looking for alternative ways to pay for financial aid. Other universities in Texas top the website's list of students who have memberships. Critics claim the website is nothing more than a legal form of prostitution, but the owner says any form of escorting or money exchanged for sex is strictly prohibited. KBTX did attempt to reach out to several members of the site for comment, but our account was shut down after the company learned of what we were doing.
