For body washing, the school community uses water from three 3 swampy still ponds dug out wells at the back of the school grounds. There was no proper shower room available in school. Today the schools have access to two 2 additional Ventilated Improved Pit VIP latrines for the elementary school, and four 4 more VIP latrines and 1 female shower room for the primary school were built.
The washroom facilities are designed to use a water bucket and water scoop for body washing. Also Installed were eleven 11 hand washing facilities. The committee were given Hygiene education conducted which focused on hand washing, environmental cleanliness i.
