AI4Media is composed by 30 leading partners in the areas of AI and media 9 Universities, 9 Research Centres, 12 industrial organisations and a large pool of associate members, that will establish the networking infrastructure to bring together the currently fragmented European AI landscape in the field of media, and foster deeper and long-running interactions between academia and industry.
Its research is focused on the design of innovative legal engineering and risk management techniques and is characterized by its intra- and interdisciplinary approach, constantly aspiring to cross-fertilization between legal, technical, economic and socio-cultural perspective.
The University of Trento UNITN is a young and dynamic university with 15, students and about people working as faculty and administrative and technical staff. The large number of bilateral cooperation agreements has led the University of Trento to be well-known and appreciated at an international level and to offer its students a lot of opportunities to study and work abroad, as well as an international environment at home.
Furthermore, the team has a successful track record of participating in EC-funded research projects and organising scientific conferences and events. The University of Florence is an important and influential centre for research and higher training in Italy, with 1, lecturers and internal research staff, 1, technical and administrative staff, and over 1, research assistants and doctoral students.
It offers a wide range of study programmes at various levels and in all areas of knowledge. Researchers at the University of Florence operate within 24 different departments and have at their disposal approximately 40 research structures comprising inter-departmental and inter-university centres as well as specialised research, knowledge transfer and advanced training centres.
