As an intersectional feminist, my work is deeply trauma-informed; your autonomy, safety, pace, worldview, and informed consent are paramount and will always be respected. I have experience navigating polyamory , ethical non-monogamy, and diverse sexual identities. I work with individuals and couples who may feel like their relationships or experiences don't align with societal norms.
Additionally, I am sex positive, kink and BDSM-affirming, queer and gender-affirming, as well as polyamory and consensual non monogamy-affirming. As a counselor, I remain true to myself in the sense that I am direct, warm, honest, compassionate, and expressive with my reactions.
I tend to be casual in my approach, so if something is funny, I will laugh with you, and if something is sad or distressing, I will share those feelings with you as well. While it is important to me that I remain as objective as possible, I firmly believe that the therapist themself serves as a tool that contributes to your therapeutic process.
