The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with holidays off. These positions work in high volume, high stress work environments to assist customers for various services related to child support obligations, while meeting and sustaining accuracy and productivity standards.
The Child Support Services program works with families via telephone to establish paternity for their children, works with attorneys to get child support orders, if needed, or identifies if orders already exist. They keep financial records of child support obligations, and ensure compliance with court orders by collecting child support debts.
Typically gained by at least six months of experienceORcompletion of some college courses in a human services field. This background may also have been obtained through upper division college-level courses in a human services field.
