A speedy outfielder with a strong throwing arm, Callow ranks in the Top 10 in career batting average and was one of only two AAGPBL players to post a 20β20 season.
She may also have been the best clutch hitter the league ever saw. Among the five sluggers with at least career RBIs, nobody drove in runs at a faster rate than Callow. Not surprisingly, she was one of the most popular players in Peaches franchise history. Callow was named to an all-star team in seven of her eight professional seasons.
