Under the general direction of a Maintenance Supervisor, the Electronics Technician II is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diverse electronic equipment used in systems such as voice and data communications, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and other critical technologies.
This role involves performing modifications, calibrations, and testing at the component level, as well as conducting interdepartmental training and operator-level troubleshooting for life safety and security systems.
The technician will carry out regular preventative maintenance, monitor system operations for compliance with regulatory standards, and design and assemble circuits and devices as needed. Additionally, the position requires collecting and logging data, preparing reports using work order management software, and coordinating work with authorized vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
