She lived in Augusta all of her youthful and adult years. After graduating from high school she received a degree in education and taught at T. She was an Alumni o f both Haines and Paine Colleges.
Tillman accepted Christ at an early age was a member of Thankful Baptist Church. On Friday, August 2, she heard a voice we could not hear, that said you cannot stay, she saw a hand we did not see that beacon her away. She saw, she heard, she answered in the quietness of her home where she passed away suddenly in the present o f her Lord.

She leaves to mourn her passing one brother, Mr. I t's a passage, not a place to stay. We also know the sense o f loss must give away if we are to value the life she lived. G rief is not a sign o f our weakness, nor a lack o f our faith It is the price o f love we had fo r her.
