A webcam girl has revealed the job's "dark side" after an inquest was told how a year-old woman died performing a 'degrading' sex act. Elysia Downings told how while the job might appear to be harmless, she has found herself in sinister situations.
Speaking to Mirror Online, the year-old said: "When I first began working on cam I was much more naive and found it difficult to say no. Earlier this week, an inquest heard how Hope Barden died from asphyxia as she performed a sexual act on live webcam for Jerome Dangar. Police were considering charging Dangar with manslaughter, but he killed himself in prison after being jailed for possessing extreme pornography before they had chance.
She described how within weeks of starting the job clients had made depraved and dangerous requests, including asking her to choke herself. However her words will bring no comfort to Hope's family who have been left devastated by her death. Her flatmate found her body at their home in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, on March 15, This week Coroner Andrew Haigh returned a conclusion of unlawful killing.
