As the actress, 38, weaved her way through the audience to no avail, Swift scooched over in her chair and waved her over. The two women shared a laugh about the stressful ordeal, which Swift knew all too well given her late arrival at the awards show last year. While Erivo joined Swift and her tablemates β Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley β for the first part of the show, she seemingly found her assigned seat during one of the commercial breaks.

Swift, for her part, sparkled in a ruby-colored Vivienne Westwood corset dress and matching Casadei heels.
