The victims, who live in the block of Northeast 29th Place, told Boca Raton police that three men approached them on foot from behind nearby bushes as they were getting out of their car at their home. The men pointed guns at them, police said. The men then entered the couple's vehicle and removed a gun from the center console after attempting to steal the car, police said. The suspects then fled the scene westbound to an unknown vehicle.
The couple had just returned from a casino, police said. Police said the men were last seen wearing dark clothing and masks.
Investigators are seeking footage of this reported incident. Police are asking anyone residing in the area to review footage from their exterior home cameras.
