We are currently experiencing some issues with the pay machines on the QA Hospital site, which means we are unable to process card or cash transactions for visitor parking. This may continue into the weekend, but we will share a further update when we have more information.
We would encourage visitors to use the RingGo app or phone number to pay for their parking if they are not eligible for free or reduced parking charges. If you are unable to complete your payment using RingGo, which is not affected by this issue, please speak with the main reception team.
We are working closely with our external contractor to address these issues and apologise for any inconvenience. An alternative walk-in entrance is available by the B-level Haematology and Oncology Unit, but patients are encouraged to enter the hospital via the Main Entrance accessible 24 hours a day and East Entrance 7.
Our maternity services look after pregnant people who live in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. We have an obstetric ward, a co-located birth centre and two stand-alone birth centres. We have a team made up of consultants, doctors, midwives that work in community and hospital settings, and maternity support workers to support you through your pregnancy and postnatal period.
We are a teaching hospital and student midwives train alongside the Midwives. The safety of people giving birth and their babies is our top priority. You can be assured that we have taken time and put considerable effort into ensuring that we have taken all possible learning from the Ockenden Review. It is important that we hear the voices of all women and birthing people and put their needs at the centre of our care.
