I began my Massage Therapy career twenty years ago, at age 26 in Northern Thailand. I studied massage for six months and fell in love with bodywork. Since then, I have learned different techniques including pregnancy therapeutic massage, postpartum therapy, advanced Thai massage techniques for female wellness, deep tissue, hot stone therapy, reflexology, high risk stretching, abdominal care and scar tissue release, menopause massage, fascia release and therapeutic Rebozo bodywork; in countries including Thailand, USA, UK, Australia, Mexico, Indonesia and Norway.
In , I began working with a focus on women after my own journey into motherhood, and since then I have channeled all my education towards finding the most adequate techniques to work with women in different stages of their life. My work is centered on fusion bodywork with an intuitive-restorative approach.
I support women in reconnecting with their own intuition so they can find their own path to wellness. I spent the first few years of my massage career working along side a chiropractor and in the Spa Industry in the United States. I have worked as therapist in Norway since I arrived in , both as an independent provider and as massage therapist for a highly respected Oslo clinic.
I have almost 20 years experience in the field of massage, eight of them spent practicing —and extensively educating myself— in the field of women wellness and motherhood care. I am the only NMF certified massage therapist in Oslo with both, ample training and experience in massage as well as thorough pregnancy and postpartum specializations.
I have curated my own technique based on science-based learning, paired with intuitive use of the various techniques I master. I am a mother, a step-mother, a well seasoned traveler and a lifelong learner. I have a background in female empowerment and female comparative literature. Ayurveda has changed my life and motherhood gave my massage career a purpose. Mother or not, this restorative space is one for those looking to work with a qualified bodywork therapist that knows what is like to experience all these powerful life transitions as a woman.
